These terms govern your use of Stocktale (stocktale.in), operated by Sagar U.S., Bengaluru. By registering, browsing, or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms.

1. What Stocktale is

Stocktale is a market commentary and journal. Sagar U.S. is not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. All content — Arthashastra, Ranbhoomi, Gyana, and Patha-Shala — is commentary on indices and macro conditions. Nothing on Stocktale is investment advice, a stock recommendation, a buy/sell call, or a return promise. See our full SEBI disclaimer shown throughout the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to register or purchase a membership, and you take full personal responsibility for any financial decisions you make based on your own judgment.

3. Your account

One account is for one individual — see our Copyright & Content Rights page for details on account sharing.
Keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, share paid content publicly, or show clear signs of credential sharing.

4. Membership & payment

Membership (₹999/year) plans unlock Arthashastra, Ranbhoomi and Patha-Shala. Arthashastra, Ranbhoomi, Gyana and the full Journal remain free for everyone, forever, no login required. Payments are processed via Razorpay. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

5. Content ownership

All Stocktale content is owned by Sagar U.S. and protected by copyright. See our full Copyright & Content Rights page for what you may and may not do with it.

6. No investment advice

This is the most important term on this page. Nothing on Stocktale — in any format, on any day — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, a price target, or a promise of returns. Sagar U.S. is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. Daily commentary covers broad-based indices, the economy and policy. Recorded lessons and live sessions use price data at least 30 days old. No individual security is ever named. For personal investment decisions, consult a SEBI-registered adviser.

7. Limitation of liability

Stocktale and Sagar U.S. bear no responsibility for any financial loss, profit, or decision you make based on content published here or discussed in Patha-Shala sessions. You alone are responsible for your trading and investment decisions.

By registering, you agree to receive communication from Stocktale on your registered mobile number via WhatsApp, SMS, or calls, as described in our Compliance Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Stocktale after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
