All content published on Stocktale — including but not limited to Arthashastra (weekday morning brief), Ranbhoomi (Friday evening review), Gyana (deep reads), and all Patha-Shala session materials, recordings, slides, and notes — is the original work of Sagar U.S. and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and applicable international copyright treaties.

1. Ownership

2. What you may do

As a reader or member, you are welcome to:

Read, save, and refer back to content for your own personal, non-commercial learning.
Share a link to a freely readable page — the Battleground, Read this first, or any edition you have been sent — with friends, family, or on social media.
Quote a short excerpt (a sentence or two) with clear credit — "via Stocktale" or "— Sagar U.S., Stocktale" — and a link back to the original page.

3. What you may not do

Without prior written permission, you may not:

Copy, reproduce, or republish full articles, laws, chapters, or session content — on another website, blog, PDF, or social channel.
Re-publish Stocktale writing as your own, or share the recorded workshop course with anyone who has not bought it.
Use Stocktale's content, data compilations, or frameworks to build a competing product or service.
Record, re-upload, or redistribute Patha-Shala live sessions.

4. What you write is yours

Everything in your diary belongs to you, not to Stocktale. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not publish it, and we do not use it in our own writing, in teaching, or anywhere else. It is stored so that you can read it back, and for no other purpose.

You can download the whole of it at any time from your diary page, and you can delete any entry or all of them. If your membership lapses, your diary is unaffected — it is free, it stays free, and it does not depend on you paying us anything.

5. Member account sharing

Each account is for one individual. Accounts showing signs of shared/multi-device use beyond normal personal use (phone + laptop) may be flagged and, in continued cases, suspended — this protects both the content and fair pricing for everyone else.

6. Third-party data & sources

Stocktale references publicly available market data, news, and official sources (RBI, SEBI, exchanges, government releases) for commentary. Such factual data itself is not claimed as Stocktale's original work — the analysis, framing, and written commentary around it is.

7. Reporting a violation

If you find Stocktale content being reproduced elsewhere without permission, or see a member account being shared/resold, please report it to Sagar directly on WhatsApp.

Questions

For permission requests (e.g. quoting Stocktale content in your own publication, using a chart or figure), message Sagar directly — reasonable requests with proper credit are usually approved quickly.
